The Red Seal Carpenter supports the Site Supervisor and project team by executing high-quality carpentry across all scopes of work. This role is suited for a self-sufficient tradesperson who takes ownership of craftsmanship, contributes to site efficiency, and upholds safety and professional standards. You will work across framing, exterior work, finishing, and general carpentry while maintaining strict quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Execute carpentry work across framing, exterior, siding, trim, and general site scopes
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and construction details independently
Deliver work in compliance with building codes and manufacturer requirements
Support site sequencing and coordinate efficiently with other trades
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite aligned with WorkSafeBC standards
Complete daily FLHAs and required site documentation
Communicate material needs, progress updates, and site issues proactively

Qualifications

Red Seal Carpenter certification (required)
4 or more years of hands-on carpentry experience
Strong understanding of BC building codes and construction best practices
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional communication skills and a team-first mindset
Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Pay & Benefits

Full-time, permanent employment
Pay: CAD$35.00 to CAD$40.00 per hour, based on experience
